What Vylos is

Each morning, Vylos gives yesterday a Vybe Score from 0 to 100, worked out from the glucose data your Dexcom shares with Apple Health. You build a streak and earn Vylos Points for the days your sensor gives Vylos enough data to score.

I'm Josef (Joe) Korbel. I've lived with type 1 diabetes since I was eight, and I built Vylos because I wanted my CGM data to feel worth opening.

Who can join

• You're 18 or older.
• You use an iPhone.
• You use a Dexcom G6, G7 or ONE+, and it shares data with Apple Health (or you're happy to turn that on).
• You live in the US. I can't include people in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut yet.

Testing isn't right for everyone yet. The form has a short safety checklist.

What it takes

• After you apply, I'll reply by email within 2 days. Please don't install anything yet. Vylos isn't on the App Store yet. If you're accepted, you'll install it with TestFlight, Apple's free app for testing apps, and I'll send you a step-by-step guide.
• After that, a few minutes a week. Use Vylos however you like, and answer three quick questions each week.
• No meal logging, and nothing to enter in the app each day.
• Bugs are expected. Telling me about them is the point.
• It's free, and you can stop at any time.

Please read

• Vylos isn't medical advice. It doesn't tell you what to do about your diabetes.
• It isn't real-time. Dexcom data reaches Apple Health about 3 hours late, and your score is for the day before. Vylos won't warn you about lows or highs. Keep using your Dexcom app and its alerts.
• Treat lows as your care team advised, and never change insulin, food or treatment to raise your score.

Your information

Your individual glucose readings stay on your phone. Only I see your application. If you aren't accepted, it's deleted within 30 days of applying. While you're testing, you can choose to share how you use the app and your daily results. Both are optional. Privacy policy
